We aim to develop strong athletic ability in young runners of all ages through quality and effective programs in a supportive, positive environment.

Our Program


Looking for a way to introduce a love of exercise and promote wellbeing in your child's everyday routine?


Our programs are designed to develop all levels of runner from young beginners who want to exercise in the park, to experienced competitors keen to boost race performance.


We specialise in technique , agility, coordination, race preparation and race day performance through programs that focus on the important areas of warm-up/cool-down, dynamic and static stretching, drills to enhance running form and speed development.

From Cross Country racing to track athletics we can taylor training programs for all distances from 100 to 8,000 metre school and club events.



Running is not just a sport, it is a way of life.


We promote important values of honesty, trust, respect, and hardwork.

Our runners perform in a supportive, fun environment where everybody is treated equally.

Group Sessions
The Development Squad
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4pm in Centennial Park, for Beginners to Intermediate runners and those looking to increase their fitness for other sports.
The Elite Group
Winter times Monday and Friday  4:15pm pm Centennial Park and Wednesday 5:30pm ES Marks Track.
Daylight Saving Time Monday and Friday  4:45pm Centennial Park and Wednesday 5:30pm ES Marks Track. This group is for runners who have competed to at least Regional Level in Cross Country or Track.

Track Sessions
We have a Track specific session on Wednesday Evenings at ES Marks Athletics Fields in Kensington from 5.30pm.
These sessions are perfect for athletes racing in Little Athletics or Club and School Championships in all distances from 100 to 5,000m.
Strength Training
Our program includes strength training to improve  core strength, enhance running form and prevent injury.
Each session includes warmup and cool down phases with dynamic and static stretching exercises.
Private Sessions
Looking for that special edge or maybe just improve your running technique?
Our private running sessions give you specialised coaching relevant to your specific goals and targets.
For just $60 for 40 minutes or $80/h for individuals or $100/h for small family groups (up to 4) we will provide a detailed running assessment and set achievable goals for your upcoming targeted event.

Transition from Junior to Senior Athlete

At Up And Running we understand the demands on the young athlete and the heavy schedule of study and school sport. Our Juniors  have the ability to join our Senior group THE RUN SQUAD for morning sessions with experienced, elite adult athletes and mentors.

School Holidays Running Camps - Coogee Beach Precinct

Our Running Camps occur each school holiday break on selected dates. 

The camps include a variety of running activities including a coastal run along the scenic track from Coogee to Clovelly Beach, hill and stair running, soft sand running, beach sprints and flags. There will also be strength and conditioning practice through specific exercises aimed at developing an understanding the importance of core strength for all running activities. 

These day camps are ideal for boys and girls moving into Surf Club Nippers competition for the Summer season.

Drinks lunch, and light refreshments will be provided.

Triathlon Training


Coach Warren is a former elite triathlete with years of race experience in Sprint Distance to Half Ironman.  Jordan too has raced in individual and team triathlon events at NSW All Schools.

Through private tuition they can offer advice and assistance with training programs, nutrition, race transitions, pacing, bike handling and skills .

We specialise in preparing for school and club triathlon events.

Turn your next party into a BIG fitness event with Up And Running

Our agility and obstacle courses, relays, games, ball sports and of course running will make your party one to remember.
