The Girls had a great weekend on the Gold Coast in October at the Coolangatta Gold Surf Titles in Queensland.
Sophie was outstanding in the run leg of the Under 19 Team event, with her team finishing with a Bronze Medal. She backed this up with an individual Gold Medal in the Youth Ironman Competition the following day.
Paris ran in her sister Briana's Open Women's Team. Her efforts on the gruelling soft sand course helped the team to earn a Silver Medal in a very high level field of athletes.
Triple National GOLD for Piper
It was an amazing campaign for Piper at the Australian Junior Track and Field Championships in Darwin.
Piper arrived in Darwin ready to defend her title of National 800 and 1500m Champion after her big wins in Melbourne in 2018.
In 35 degree heat Piper set the track on fire with massive PBs in both events to take out the duel crown again over the best girls in the country.
She then added a third GOLD Medal by running a brilliant 300m last leg in the National Sprint relay in a time of 45 seconds.
NSW CCC Track and Field Championships at SOPAC
Great results for our Athletes at the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges Track and Field Championships at SOPAC.
Sophie took GOLD in both the 800 and 1500m races with big wins in both events and Lachlan took SILVER in his 1500m race. Grace also had a good run just missing the podium in 4th place in her 1500m race.
Our sprint star Evan also had a big day on the track taking the SILVER medal in the 200m and ran a solid PB in the final of the 100m.
